Accelerated Leadership Program - Grand Valley State University

The Accelerated Leadership Program was created in 2014 and completed its first cohort in 2016. This program offers existing, interdisciplinary curriculum in an accelerated, hybrid format that is designed for adult learners and is the first program to be offered in this format at Grand Valley State University. The program accepts previously earned credit from other institutions and offers a curriculum that can help adult learners earn a bachelor's degree in as little as 19 months. Instead of a traditional 16-week semester, courses are offered in 5-week formats, the curriculum is linked with courses intentionally building on skills and competencies gained in other classes, and faculty teaching courses in the program work together to ensure learner success.
