new connections stipend: new professionals
The New Connections Stipend was created to help defray the cost of NASPA Annual Conference first-time attendees who have less than five years professional experience post-masters. The ten recipients will be given a complimentary code to cover a member, regular rate annual conference registration and be reimbursed up to $500 for conference related expenses.
Applications are due January 9, 2017 and all will be notified of status by January 31, 2017
Jim Rhatigan Fellowships: graduate students
To help defray the cost of the NASPA Annual Conference for graduate students pursuing a master’s or doctoral program in higher education, student affairs, or a related field, the NASPA Foundation offers four $500.00 scholarships. Funds must be used towards the cost to attend the NASPA Annual Conference held every March. Scholarship recipients are required to be currently pursuing a master’s or doctoral program and cannot receive this scholarship more than once.
Applications are due February 3, 2017 and all will be notified of status by February 24, 2017

- Must submit a current résumé or curriculum vitae.
- Produce a maximum 2-3 minute video on a current hot topic / trend in higher education today and provide historical context on how it became "hot".
- Please upload the video to YouTube or a similar video provider prior to submitting.
Capstone on-campus management naspa undergraduate pre-conference scholarship: undergraduate students
To support the 1st time Undergraduate Student Conference attendance of NASPA Undergraduate members and NUFP Fellows, NASPA and Capstone On-Campus Management have created the Capstone On-Campus NASPA Undergraduate Pre-Conference Scholarship. Up to 12 scholarships will be granted, and recipients of the scholarship receive a $250.00 stipend, as well as a complimentary registration to the 2017 Undergraduate Pre-Conference in San Antonio, TX.
Applications are due January 22, 2017 and all will be notified of status by early-February
The placement exchange onsite candidate funding award: Graduate Students
In honor of TPE’s 10th anniversary, The Placement Exchange has created a funding award to help first-time candidates attend the TPE Onsite event! 10 recipients will be reimbursed for up to $500 for costs related to TPE including event registration, transportation to and from San Antonio, TX and lodging costs while attending the event.
