First introduced in Baltimore at the 2014 NASPA Annual Conference, SA Speaks has grown into one of the premier educational programs at the NASPA Annual Conference. The format—hand-picked presenters giving short talks on a wide-range of topics—provides a safe space for attendees to have their ideas and beliefs challenged and affirmed.
In years past our presenters have discussed raising their son without the baggage of being “a man,” the challenges of spirituality in the workplace, and the increasing role that technology and social media play in student development, just to name a few.
We’re pleased to release the videos from the 2016 NASPA Annual Conference SA Speaks sessions to share this exceptional content:
If you’ve found yourself inspired to give your own SA Speaks talk, we encourage you to submit a program to the 2017 NASPA Annual Conference, taking place in San Antonio, TX March 11-15. Program proposals are due September 2.
